Did you apply to get pilot from inside Canada or outside?
If inside, did you have to leave the country then come back in to activate the permit?

That's a great initiative! Processing times for PR can vary, but typically range from several months to a year or more. While IRCC may contact your employer for verification during the process, it's not always a requirement. Keep an eye on updates from IRCC.

Hi everyone, my situation is similar. I am currently under the HCCP-gaining experience class A category. I submitted my IELTS, WES and paid the permanent residence fee before they gave me the occupation-restricted open work permit and before I landed here in Canada. I am now in my 6 month and I heard that the HCCP program cap for 2024 closed last January. Does this mean that I can no longer apply for PR after I complete my 12 months of experience? And need to wait for the reopening of the program? Any inputs? Will highly appreciate it. Thanks

Looks like I fall under this category. I applied for Pilot HCCP in category A back in Sep 2020. I landed in Canada in Sep 2023 on closed work permit and started working for my sponsor right away. I'll be completing my 1-yr Canadian experience in Sep 2024.

Now I am curious what all paperwork is required to complete PR application considering I have already paid for PR application and shared most of the documentation (IELTS, WES, etc.) few years back. Also, what are the timelines after submitting all the required documentation to get PR?
