That's not entirely true. PoF and a few other things don't get locked. Age and IELTS gets locked at AOR though.

@iSaidGoodDay i have a question please, are ppr sent by AOR date order or randomnly ? As i dont understand why mid to late November AORs are receiving pprs and some here with earlu November AOR haven’t ? Or it has to do with Visa office ?
PPR are sent as soon as all sections have been completed and verified. some have their background checks take longer than others. Some have their medicals done late. it's not first come first serve.
Some say that some visa offices are faster than others like for example Ottawa V.O. But again, it really depends on the case. and as far as we are concerned now, we, Nov AOR are still within the 6 months processing time

So I called IRCC today.
Medicals and background still in progress.
And they said my VO is Nova scotia and Sydney.
Any idea what does that mean?

Actually it's not Nova Scotia and Sydney, it's Sydney in Nova Scotia. Sydney is a city in the province of Nova Scotia.
So you VO is the Centralized intake office of IRCC Sydney.
Oh the most hilarious! I literally just got off the call and checked tracker and medicals which the agent was saying in-progress and in the tracker it shows medicals passed!
Ok Question:
In the tracker my IME expiry date has been updated and in my profile it says:
Biometrics Completed
Eligibility Completed
Medicals Completed
Background In-progress
But for my spouse no status change. It just says In-progress in all and no IME expiry date mentioned either.
Is that a problem?

How long did it take you to pass the eligibility stage?
We did our medicals , biometrics, not sure what is supposed to come next(both eligibility and BGC are marked as “In progress”)
Timeline so far:
26th Oct 2023 ITA
28th Nov 2023 AOR
31st Jan 2024 Biometrics and Medical call
5th Feb 2024 Biometrics Completed
12th Feb 2024 Medicals given
15th Feb 2024 Eligibility Completed
19th Feb 2024 Medicals Completed (although in tracker it shows as Completed on 17th Feb but the status got updated on 19th)

I only know that a dependent’s eligibility never starts and it is okay , other than that ,nope... unfortunately . We just created our tracker on Feb 14 (1 dependent - spouse).
What did the agent tell you about your background check and security and what is you AOR please ?
