Hi . I applied for LMIA in Sept, but have not received it yet . I am on PGWP currently and it’s expiring soon .
can anyone please give an honest idea about when do I receive it ? Anyone who has applied before August received it?

Just to clarify, you applied for a closed work permit based from your employer’s approved LMIA?

No, at this time I am waiting for the LMIA approval , which my employer has applied for me .
After I get the LMIA approval , only then I will be able to apply for the work permit .

The question is that is it’s been 6 months since my employer has applied for LMIA . The expectations was that it will take 4 months.
I want to know how much time is it taking these days to get the LMIA approval ?

So how are you eligible for a work permit with PR LMIA if employer didn’t pay the $1k?
