Hello, back in 2022 I took the oath, emailed my signed oath form, and received the citizenship certificate. Nonetheless, I've just received an email presumably from someone at cic.gc.ca telling me that my signed oath is not on file and asking me to sign an attached oath form. The form is prefilled with my info that is pretty much correct. When I try to register in the IRCC tracker with my UCI and citizenship application number it does not let me suggesting that my application might not be in their system yet. I submitted the application in 2020. So far I did not get in touch with IRCC by calling their general phone line due to, you know, a large volume of calls. In the email that I received there is a name, a position, and a phone number of the person who presumably sent it. The email looks legitimate to me, but, you understand, I'm not fully sure. It would be nice if such emails were digitally signed, but this is a different topic. Neither the person's name nor the phone number show up in Google search. A month or so ago I received a survey email from IRCC that I ignored. Now what could be really going on? Should I sign the oath form again, two years after the oath and mail it by post to the address on the form? If I call that number from the email, I would remain in doubts the person on the other end were from the IRCC.

If in doubt call IRCC but based on what you shared above looks like it's a genuine request and would have got identified by an audit.

Audit or not, but after a brief email exchange, I emailed a copy of the same oath form as two years ago. I've been keeping my oath form on file.
