I just got off the call with IRCC support regarding my BG check. The agent confirmed my Criminally check was done, so No, I didn't miss any FP request or will receive one. My Security is not done, it's all in CSIS hand now

same here/ we have similar timelines except the FP request
But the sad part is Security clearance can take upto 10 months

Also,recently, a few more folks got LPP completed before BG mainly from MIS office..... I guess it's their new pattern !!!

CSIS clearance time 10-11 months. We have a Whatsapp group to track this

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum.
My timeline is a bit weird- everything completed except Prohibitions which has been in progress for a while now.. last update was Nov 28th when physical presence turned to complete. Here is my timeline: Application sent: Sept 8, AOR: Oct 20, background completed: Oct 29 test taken: Nov 15, Language completed: Nov 24, Physical presence: Nov 28.. Nothing else since.
processing office is MIS
Cant think of any reason why application is stuck on Prohibitions. I read somewhere that sometimes it doesn't change to completed until ceremony turns to "in progress".. I don't know how accurate that is..?

Any thoughts???

Welcome new friend. I can't tell why your Prohibition is still not clear but this part not true. As major of applicants would have all green/completed and still wait for Ceremony to turn into 'In Progress'. I can only tell you that IRCC and MIS office this year is complete random and hard to guess their pattern. Some went smoothly without any 2nd guess and some like us here wondering what crime did we commit to be stuck at BG step for forever.
