Hi all, My COPR is expiring on 30th April 2023. I plan to do a soft landing on 25th April 2023. I'll be travelling from Australia to Canada. I would really appreciate it if someone can respond to my queries:-
- I have booked my tickets from 25th April to 10th May. Will I face a problem on the departing airport because I have got a return ticket which is after the expiry date of my visa.
- Landing on 25th (5 days before my visa expiry should not be a problem, right?
- Do I need to be present in the country to receive my PR card because I plan to come back on 10th May.

Thanks in advance

1. No issues. Just make sure you have a goods to follow list(search the forum for it).
2. No problem as long as CoPR is valid
3. Someone else can receive it on your behalf too. You just need a Canadian address. To come back after soft landing, you'll need someone to mail you your PR cards(not recommended) or you'll have to apply for a PRTD.

Do we need to inform the officials regarding the soft landing ? Till when from COPR expiry can someone apply for a PRTD for example in this case if the COPR expires on 30/Apr and PR card don't arrive till lets say 30/Nov can a person still applies PRTD before coming in 1/Dec ?
