We applied for Visitor Visa for our brother in 2018 and he was granted visa for 1.5 years as the passport was expiring in June 2019. At that point of time, he was employed as a Commercial Pilot with Jet airways, so we mentioned profession as a Commercial Pilot and and highest degree of education as 'Commercial Pilot License'. At that point of time, visa used to be applied through paper application.
In March 2022, we reapplied for his visitor visa and he was granted visa till 2031. This time- visa was applied through new online portal for immediate family members. In the personal history, they asked for 10 years history. 2012 to 2016- he worked as a Transport manager in a transport company. He also completed his correspondence MBA from 2013 - 2015 (which we did not mentioned as it was distant learning). 2016 to 2019- he got a job as Commercial Pilot and worked with Jet Airways. 2020 to 2024- he again joined and worked as a Transport manager in the same transport company.
He applied for PR under express entry and received invitation under 'Transport category' in Dec 2023. In the express entry profile, we mentioned highest education as MBA (2013 - 2015), for which he received points as well. Our main concern is now, the officer won't say that why you did not mentioned your MBA when you applied for your visitor visa in 2022. Please if someone can help suggesting, what shall be done in this case. Do they consider this as a red flag and even pull up information from visitor visa profile. This was a honest mistake as we ourselves applied his visitor visa both the times in 2018 and 2022. The personal history is required now since his 18th birthday.
Please if someone can help us suggesting or faced similar situation. We are in lot of stress ATM.
