If CEC met but invited under general draw, need to show PoF?

I am also meeting CEC requirements but if I am invited under general draw then do I need to show proof of funds? Or PoF is not required if one is invited under CEC category draw? I’m bit confused.

Your ITA letter will indicate the category under which you are being invited. Even if you are invited in a general draw, IRCC reserves the right to decide which category you should apply based on your profile. So you can only tell when you get ITA. If it states CEC, no POF, if FSW, then yes.
