Sponsoring sibiling for visitor visa - Bank balance requirement for Sponsor

Friends, how much bank balance one needs to show if we are sponsoring a sibling to stay with us at Canada?
Sibling will bear the flight expense but once here, we will take care of everything till the time he is here.
Considering I have $22k in bank balance. Is that amount sufficient. I can show more funds invested in stocks but not sure if that can be considered.

How long is the sibiling staying? Ideally the sibling can show some of their own funds as well and other proof of ties. Their profile is more important than yours.

Sibling will tay for about 1.5 months. Can show around 8000 CAD available, ongoing job and parents, wife and son back in India which I guess are strong reasons to believe he will be going back.
