Congrats, you've been approved. You should expect an approval email next week or early week after next week.

There are different ways in which we see approval being reported:
1. all completed in PR tracker-> RFV/portal/PPR letter (common route)
2. in progress items in PR tracker, but final decision date in GCKey -> RFV/portal/PPR letter in 1-2 weeks - pretty common and you should search the forum for these cases(search for final decision)
3. my personal favorite, everything in progress in PR tracker, GCKey has no final decision -> RFV/portal email - very very rare to happen!

@iSaidGoodDay That is very interesting to know. Since my BG check is IP and I see a Final decision date with the "Yoour application is in process.." message, I guess case 2 applies in my scenario.

RFV = ready for visa email - this is the approval email that has instructions to submit your passports for stamping (similar to PPR letter). PPR letter on the other hand shows up inside your GCKey with an email notification.

You'll get portal email instead of PPR/RFV. You will be issued an eCoPR and won't require you to send your passports for stamping.

Need some help, it is getting very anxious and restless since it has been a long time since AOR.

Yesterday, I received the below on my cic profile.
Latest update:
Final decision - January 19, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

There is no update on my COPR expiry on the tracker tool, today is Saturday. But they did extend my medical by 8 months as it was expiring soon. I called IRCC and they said everything look ok on file.

Can someone guide me on next steps,please?

You just need to wait for the approval email now.
