Nothing but 2 ghost updates since then. I have requested note some my applications thought IRCC on Jan 1, 2024.

My partner and I got engaged in the meantime and would really like to tie the knot but I'm afraid it might make my application complex and take even longer. I really need to visit my family back home who I haven't seen in 3 years and it's just so heartbreaking to wait for so long while other people get it so fast

Just wanted to post an update. I got my invitation to an in person oath ceremony on January 5th, 2024 and the ceremony will be held on January 18th, 2024. So excited!

Congrats! Did you receive e-certificate instructions before oath invite? How long were you waiting between e-certificate instructions and knowing your oath date? Thanks!

i received the e-certificate instructions 4 days before oath ceremony invite

e-certificate instructions sent: 28 December
oath ceremony email: 02 January 2024
Oath Ceremony held: 09 January 2024

I will update as i receive my e-certificate. Someone told that it will be between 24-48 hours

Thanks! Wow, that's a very quick turnaround between oath ceremony email and the ceremony itself. I just received my e-cert instructions and currently outside Canada so I'm trying to figure out my return!

that is just group created by applicants, but to let you know, most of the applicant there are from Nov 2022 and ongoing, still waiting, I am jan 2023 and still waiting

As an update for you Jan folks with processing at Sydney (RC-8090):

Received e-Certificate email yesterday. Oath ceremony email today for Jan 18th via Zoom!

you can download from the same id, no issues and even for creating an account if you didn't get the email or invite code you can go ahead and create an account using any email id

I've created the account. When I click the download e-certificate it asks for UCI, App number and DoB. Seems, just one account for the family should suffice.
