Got a very similar timeline to you, I just hope that the oath ceremony doesn't take long to be scheduled.

I'm travelling to the US in early February, so I hope my oath is scheduled either before my trip or after. I've heard rescheduling the oath can take months and tbh I'm getting tired of waiting and having my life 'on hold' over this.

I know this is getting ridiculous.. it has been almost a month this week since my LPP completed. I’m trying to stay optimistic and hope they send us our path invites soon
Just go. Not trivializing it, but at least it's the US. Tickets may not be that expensive to come back on short notice. I haven't been home to India since I arrived and I'm also in a similar position of "should I, should I not go?" A forummer informed that we can inform IRCC via webform of our travel plans, but that involves the risk of them shelving the application until our return or forgetting about it.
But believe me, I understand your pain. I wonder if they are hoarding applications at LPP complete and then when they need stats/ quick number boosters, they schedule in bulk and clear them.
I haven't been to my home country since I first arrived to Canada close to 7 years ago, no intentions of going back either. My trip to the US is for an event in particular I really want to attend, if I have to reschedule I might as well not go at all.
I already informed IRCC of my travel plans, sent an email to the Mississauga Oath scheduling office too but I haven't heard back from either.

2 months is a long time to be left waiting after LPP is done. And even then, it doesn't mean it's necessarily happening soon, it could be another month or more from when they schedule it.
