I did postal to get my OCI and sent $7.40 for BLS fee draft. The table also indicated $7.40 at that time. The same table is showing $1.70 now. Better to call them and get clarified.

Finally got OCI in hands.timeline application date 20th oct,ack date 27th oct,processed 3rd jan,dispatched from new delhi 4th jan,ready for delievery at bls center.we ask them to hold personally visiting bls center yesterday n got it today.thanku to forum members for all the help

My one same for my son. Processed on 1/1/24 and dispatch from delhi 2 Jan and receive toronto No Date yet. My flight is on 22/ Jan. I don’t know what to do.

My OCi card is in processing at the moment, applied walk-in through BLS on Dec 15th, no ack yet. I need to go to india on my evisa. Would it be possible to collect the OCi card from some office within India itself instead of having it shipped back to Consulate in Toronto and then to BLS?

You should get it by mid of next week. Don't worry you have time till your flight.

The status make you feel like things are happening in India but the signature on the booklet is an official from Canada. So I doubt you can get it in India.

You will definitely get your OCI card by then. Worst case e-visa can be done, generally you get it next day, so pretty quick.

I applied on Dec 15th (walk-in). What's a reasonable date by which I can expect to receive OCI at home? Is Feb 15th a reasonable estimate? What happens if no one is home to receive the OCI card? Would the Purolator or BLS folks hold the card for a month or would that be too long? Do they return it to the consulate after that?
