I applied from Canada, and as soon as status showed “wrong police station”, I contacted the Consulate with the application number and mentioned to them the correct police station, so instead of rejecting application or returning the application to me, they forwarded the application to correct police station, which not only saved my time but also money and a lot of headache. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much. I also applied from Canada under Tornoto jurisdiction. I got to know from the local police station that my station is wrong while the application status still shows police verification initiated. so you contacted consulate at pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in ? stating to change the station to the correct one?

Correct. Mine was through Vancouver. I would suggest formatting the email little carefully. Rather than suggesting them to forward the application to correct police station, what I did was, I informed them in the email of my situation and requested them to provide me with the information for the correct procedure to follow in such situation, I also included the correct police station. So, in simple terms, inform them that you made a mistake and ask them what should you do in such case. If the reader is compassionate enough he/she would spare you from some work. Unfortunately the correct/ideal process for them is to return application and re-apply a new one with correct information.

Hey! I'm in the same situation. I emailed the consulate and they asked for the updated information which I sent on Thursday. Just wondering how long I should wait before I follow up? Do you recall how long it took for you after your file was corrected to the right station? Hoping they forward the application to the right police station and the verification gets completed in the next few days, but not sure how long I should wait. My status on BLS shows "processing at general consulate" but it's been showing that for weeks until I emailed on the PCC Toronto email ID and they mentioned that that police station was incorrect.

Hey!! I reached out on the pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in email address and got a response to have my address updated in the email. They didn't tell me what address they're looking for, and because the property that is on the passport and aadhar card sold early this year, I replied with the address of an acquaintance who would do the verification for us and the right police station information. The police showed up and said it is still incorrect. I emailed Sanjiv (person who replied to my initial email) with another update and mentioned the address that is on the passport, but there has been no reply since Monday. I'm going to send another email to pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in with the hopes that they update the information.
