Any solution for a long wait for family sponsorship AOR?

Very odd and very long. Was the sponsor out of the country?

I'm only aware of cases where so delayed due to sponsor issues, like sponsor not being in Canada, social assistance verification, or similar. But things happen, I guess.

I'd suggest you order gcms notes in case it's anything that may come up later in process.

Hi, my wife is citizen and we applied for my spousal family class application (outland) on December 12, received AoR on Jan 19, 2024. We were happy that things are moving swiftly but haven't heard from IRCC since regarding biometrics or whatever the next step is and it's been 68 days. My friend who applied for his wife 3 months before us, received the biometric collection letter for his wife 50 days after the AoR, even tho their AoR took twice as long as ours. Is it normal to take this long or should we try and contact them somehow. Thanks
