Hi all,
I started working January 2022 and added my experience likewise. Portal has updated my experience for 2 years as this is the last month. But in 2022, I was on unpaid sick leave for 6 weeks due to an injury. There is was no section on the portal where i can put this information and now I received an ITA. My total hours for 2022 is above 1560. Will it be okay to submit the application?
Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Since this leave was unpaid, you cannot claim this six week period as work experience. You have to show this as a period of unemployment in your EE profile. You cannot claim points for having a year of work experience, even if you have 1560 hours. You need to have a full 12 months / 52 weeks of work experience.

Thanks for your reply, I submitted my portal after working those 6 weeks extra to be safe. Now according to the portal I have completed 2 years experience as I started in January, so it added 13 points to my score and I received an ITA based on those points. What to do now?

Ah - understood. Then you should be fine. Include an LOE that explains you had six weeks of unpaid leave and indicate the dates. Upload the LOE as part of your application.

A LOE makes sense, as there is nowhere else where I can mention my sick leave. Should I also attach my medical reports of that period to make it stronger?

It can't harm. Go ahead.
