My 'original' PGWP(which I got after completing my studies in Canada) expired on December 3rd 2022. Before it expired, I applied for extension under the Public Policy 2022 and got a new work permit which is valid until February 26th 2024.
I am talking about this link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/measures-post-graduation-work-permits-temporary-resident-permanent-resident-pathways.html
Then later on, a new Public Policy 2023 was announced https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/post-graduation-work-permit-holders/apply-in-canada.html
So after reading Public Policy 2023, it seems like I am eligible for another extension under this Policy because if you scroll down it says -
I did apply under a previous public policy for PGWP holders and my 'original PGWP' expired on December 3rd 2022; which is between September 20, 2021, and on or before December 31, 2023.
I also know that it states that
I benefited from the first public policy. And after reading the line in the 2nd public policy which says "If your original PGWP expired on or after September 20, 2021, and on or before December 31, 2023 You can apply under this PGWP public policy", it highly likely seems that I can benefit from this public policy as well.
Shall I apply? Please let me know your thought on this, appreciate it.
