Hello,

I have applied for a PNP through the non-EE IPG program. So far, I haven't been asked for language test results as it looks like the program is exempt. But when filling out the PR form, it says the language test is mandatory. Has anyone applied via the BC PNP IPG stream non-EE? If so, did you have to take the language test or did you apply without it?

Thanks.

You are correct, some provincial programs exempt language requirement because the completed course of study was in English. However, you will need English results for the federal application. The province nominated you but you still need to meet the federal requirements which includes a language test.

Hello,

I have a question and would appreciate some assistance. My BC PNP application for the Non-Express Entry IPG stream is currently in process, and I am in BC right now. I am hopeful it will be approved by the end of next month. Due to a family emergency, I will need to leave Canada for two months right after my application gets approved, and will apply for PR after returning to Canada.

In this situation, do I need to inform the BC PNP team that I will be out of the country, or is there a risk they might cancel my application?

Thank you for your help.
