Folks! I'm a Permanent Resident in BC, Canada. I have my parents back in India who would like to visit me once in a while. I was thinking of applying for either a tourist visa or super visa for them. My parents have no plans to settle down in Canada, they just want to visit me. Here are some questions I had:
- Is it true that visa rejections are higher nowadays due to the India-Canada tensions (hint: Khalistan)? Are there any cases of evidence?
- Is it better to avoid the Super Visa because it involves higher scrutiny and higher chances for rejection?
- What are the odds of getting rejected in general for parents above age of 60y.o?
