Hello everyone I would appreciate your response. Im a Canadian citizen and my daughter was born outside Canada almost a year ago and its been a month since I applied for her citizenship certificate, and now I would like to apply her limited validity passport. However I am confused because I haven't started my wife's sponsorship yet, so she obviously cannot travel without her mother until my wife's sponsorship is approved. However, I would just like to apply now so it is one less thing to do later on plus as I am already outside Canada, it is easier for me to get everything done than rather than my wife having to later on. I was told to submit my application with a reservation even if I have no plan to travel on that date, so do you think is it justified, reasonable to apply now or wait until my wife's application?

Whenever I do submit my wife's application, will the visa officer ask me why I applied my daughter's LVP if we didn't plan for her to travel or since her mother couldn't travel to Canada why did I feel the need to apply her LVP?
Since my daughter is citizen I believe it would have nothing to do with wife's application but just in your opinion do you think if she has LVP, would this affect my wife's application in anyway? positive or negative?
