Biometrics date : 16-10-2023
Send police report and got a email back saying, we acknolegde receipt of the documents October 17-2023

My question, i also am dual citizen with a diffrent country and applied for a eta, i got approved, can i go to canada in between with my wife? Can one change from outland to inland application? or summit a work permit? Or would i have to go back once approved and come back with mi immigrant visa?

First thing, Work Permits are taking long time. However, may be if you have an employer ready to employ you, perhaps may be your application might be processed faster. Second note, outland application will be processed as outland - will not be changed to inland.

TRV application received on: Oct 13, 2023

Both applications showing in progress as on Nov 16, 2023. We have already passed the normal processing time of 28 days for TRV. Any feedback on why would our application be delayed and haven't heard from IRCC yet?

You applied for TRV - and you are also spousal PR applicant? Could you please share when you applied, from where and if you already got it?

To apply for a TRV generally - yes AOR is not required.
As per CIC family reunion program, for spouses to get to Canada quickly, a PR application had to pass certain stages to be considered for quick TRV. but all those rules and policies seem to be discarded already - as for most TRV applicants, except a rare few, 60 day TRV processing timeline has passed. Hence, I dont think that now AOR, SA or anything matters. It seems CIC has shifted its focus and is processing applications faster - within 5-7months these days - and perhaps they are forgoing TRV requests and focusing on Spousal PRs - which is not a bad thing if they maintain Spousal PR processing timelines as 5-7months for most applicants.

I have submitted TRV before AOR on September 29 ,its been 60 days so far now update except medical and Biometrics .

For Spousal Pr ,Submitted on September 26,forgot to attach additional employment history of sponsor , raised a webform and they came back on Nov 17 thats all documents added and gave me Temporary application .

For TRV, I did upfront medical ,it got passed after 45 days .

Question
1- have anyone who received decision past 60 days for TRV
?

2- Does adding additional documents before AOR ,put my files back last in queue ? Is this a reason for delaye in getting AOR ?

Anyone know whats happening with the medical request? I'm seeing some people got their medical request withing a week or two of getting biometric request but for my wife its been more than a month since she got the biometric request but still no medical request. Last week she got an AOR though. Not sure what that AOR is about since we got an AOR in October already.

I applied for visitor visa for my husband on October 10, 2023 after receiving AOR on October 5, 2023. I didn't hear anything from IRCC yet!!

1 - yes, ive noticed couple of applicants got TRV 3-4 months after applying for it, so around 120-150 days later. That 60 day target was in Sean's dream.
2- ...hmmm - logically yes it should. but factually, i guess someone else should answer it as I didn't go through it.

Is it correct that if the application is sent to VO New Delhi then it means we will have an interview. Or is it just a normal things. And how long after being transferred to New Delhi should we expect an update?

Transfer to VO doesn't mean that will be an interview. Not ALL get transferred but some do and it's normal.

for us Medical and Biometric are passed. applied on aug 11th and aor oct 11th 2023. Medical was passed on oct 31,2023. no update since.
