I am a PR and my husband and daughter are also a PR but my husband PR card is not received yet. We did a soft landing in Sept 2022 and came back to India. We are planning to go back now next year early 2024. My husband is applying for PRTD.

I want to take my mother in law along with me to take care of my daughter. Can anyone please share steps and links of how to go about it.

Thanks
Swati

super visa will not be applicable in your case as your income and tax returns will not be there.
you have option to apply for visitor visa and this will require you to show your MIL's significant ties to your home country, along with financials etc.

She applies for a visitor visa showing her own funds in cash (not yours), travel history, ties to home country (job letter with approved leave, investment properties). She can stay up to 6 months or however long CBSA decides upon entry. You cannot write a letter of invitation because you don’t live in Canada nor is she reuniting with family. Her purpose of visit would be tourism. If she is refused, then you settle in Canada, she reapplies and then you can provide a letter of invitation. She cannot say that she is coming to Canada to take care of your daughter. That is considered work.

She is a housewife and not working in India. Can her other son (my brother in law) sponsor her travel to Canada. Can I share an invitation letter but I do not have any address proof for Canada.

If you are not in Canada then you cannot write a letter of invitation. A letter is to invite someone to come to Canada. There is not such thing as sponsorship. She shows her own funds and can include her son’s financial information and IRCC may or may not include it. Her funds must show she can afford a visit to Canada without using all her savings. How long is her visit? Seems you want her to work in Canada too by caring for your child which is illegal. She needs to show ties to return and if not working then what are her ties?
