• File Lodged: 28th October
• Biometrics Completed/Updated: 2nd Nov
• Background Verification: In Progress
• Medical Exam: Not Started
• Eligibility: Not Started

I have got admission for January 2024 and university wants me to upload scanned visa before 15th December.

Well you haven’t started eligibility and only applied on October 28 so expect 11 weeks from the 28th.

As per my knowledge IRCC considers an application complete from the date when your biometrics were submitted.

If you have applied for SDS then you can expect the PPR in 20 working days from the date of biometrics submission, if not then 11 weeks from the date of biometrics submission

20 days for SDS was before COVID. Some, but very few, are actually processed within 20 days. Most still take 11 weeks.

I received my PPR in exact 20 working days.
My timeline was as follows :

• Upfront Medical: 20th September
• File Lodged: 4th October
• Biometrics Updated: 9th October
• Biometrics Completed: 12th October
• Background Verification: In Progress
• Medical Exam: Not Started
• Eligibility: Not Started

• Medical Update: 2nd November 2023
• BVL : 3rd November 2023
• PPR : 3rd November 2023

Eligibility hasn’t started and background is still in progress. Are you SDS? SDS may not be done in 20 days.
