Who would have thought, eh!! May be it is first mover advantage but nevertheless lighting fast!

Anyone appiled for entry visa from bls brampton either postal or walk in for a minor..??
Those who applied could you please share your experience and the current status it shows on site.

As someone who got processed in a day from vancouver...

I applied on the 26th, walk-in, and the status states “Your visa is processed is Granted but Not-Printed. Once visa is printed,please contact the respective office on next working day where you have submitted your Application.”

How long was the line and waiting time.

There is a huge line up at bls Brampton, went there at 3 pm today to lineup for next day but came back because only 24 walkin ppl got their turn today. Its getting worse everyday people were lined up from 2 days..oh gosh!!

I got someone to line up for me. They started in the evening, the day before, and I was one of the first in the line. I was able to submit both OCI and visa applications (two different buildings) and was out by 11:30. Took longer as I had to run around and make a couple of affidavits since my husband’s 30 year old Indian passport was barely legible!

Dealing with BLS has given me PTSD lol. They fleeced me good. I would rather they just increase the processing fee than try to make money on incidentals.

If the processing is done in a day as shared by @ps422 or a week time ...then this waiting and linup may be okay based on our urgency.

I thought both OCI and VISA application are at 60 Gillingham drive location. Now you are telling me that oci is in one building AND visa is in another buuilding?

Oh my gosh! I got lucky as the plan was just to line up for OCI and they ended up resuming the visas on the same day. It did seem like there were more than 24 people in that dinky room. Likely appointments.

After going through lot of posts and to avoid linups for days...i gave it a try by sending a postal application for minor on 29 sept, got ack on oci yesterday ...

As per the trend if i get in another 25 days may be okay but after seeing your update on entry visa wann give it a try....
