My wife is at the very end of the PR process I am sponsoring her for.
She has received a “final request” letter that asks her a few things. One is to send passport copies and two photos of any “accompanying family member.”
I am wondering if our child is considered an accompanying family member.
The child (born in US) is Canadian because I am Canadian (born in Canada). However, the child does not have a Canadian citizenship certificate yet (I have applied) or Canadian passport. Child only has US passport. HOWEVER: they will have a Canadian passport by the time my wife actually moves to Canada.
So is the child an accompanying family member because they only have US passport at the moment, even though they are Canadian by birth and will have citizenship certificate and passport shortly? Thank you !
