We applied for OCI for me, my wife, and our infant daughter at the Brampton location on 28th Sep (Walk-in). Me and my wife received the acknowledgment on 13th Oct. However, our daughter has no updates on the OCI website. Is there a longer wait period as she was born in Canada or does infant application take more time? I have a flight on 24th Oct, that I am planning to reschedule end of Nov.

Daughter ack happened today at 16th Oct.

In your place I would definitely contact the consulate if Ack doesn't happen this week. No harm in trying.

Postal Application submitted to BLS Surrey on Oct 6, reached them on the 9th Oct (tracked via Purolator) but No record found while tracking at BLS website. Is it normal?

You mean the official figure of 6-8 weeks? I guess its from application. For what's happening on the ground see the tracker.. Currently 3 weeks post Ack to process in Toronto another week for dispatch, delivery etc.

Hi, Any one know if we can submit the OCI application by post to BLS and collect the OCI in person back from BLS brampton?

Just an update. Submitted OCI app at BLS Montreal today (walk-in). 30 tokens per day.
It is required to upload copies of documents (c) -- (h) of OCI checklist in the Online portal.

I didn't upload Address Proof in the portal. Luckily, they gave me 45 mins to complete the upload and accepted the application.

Does it ask for address proof? I saw list of documents in the option and I uploaded only whatever is relevant to me. Below are the list of documents I saw in the option,
1. Current Passport (Uploaded Canadian Passport)
2. Employment/Work Letter (Uploaded employment verification letter)
3. Indian Origin Proof (Last held Indian passport)
4. Marriage Certificate (Uploaded)
5. Spouse Passport (Uploaded)
6. Indian VISA (Not Applicable)
7. Joint Declaration of Subsisting of Marriage (Not Applicable)
8. PIO card (Not applicable)
9. Relationship Certificate (not Applicable)
10. Spouse OCI Card (Not Applicable)

Am I missing something? I also checked re-upload option and I did not see address proof

Update: Got a Purolator tracking number a few minutes ago. BLS website says Counter delivery to BLS Center after OCI Stamping.

I guess, I'll get it in a couple of days.

Yes, Canadian passport number is needed along with your application number.

Yes I am using Canadian passport and tracking number from BLS that starts with CANT..
