Hearing Decision to be sent by mail

Today, I had my refuge hearing, and It went well. It was all about 1.5 hours of hearing. My lawyer was happy too. In the end, the Member told me he would send the decision by mail. I am stressed about the decision. How long it may take to receive the decision and what could be the consequences?

Could take anywhere from 2 weeks to many months. Depends on how fast the member sends their answers and whether they need to think about the response or want To do more research. You will either receive an approval or refusal.

Hi, I received a positive decision yesterday.
It is all about knowing your story. Questions are unpredictable but, those would be related to your story.

and how did you know your hearing went well? Was it the body language of the board member or anything in particular?

My lawyer said so. He is a 45-year-experienced lawyer. But still, you know. Human psychology .. till you get a decision you are not confirmed.
The board member was entirely expressionless.
