Hi guys, a whole month after our IME we got a furtherance letter requiring further medical info for our son. We went back to the panel physician who did our exam and were told our son needs to get tested for TB and needs to do a follow-up x ray in November.
The panel physician told us they'd be scheduling an appointment with a pediatrician who'd reach out to us, it's been weeks since that happened. We have tried emailing and calling them and ended up frustrating the customer service team at the clinic. We've tried finding other panel physicians in Mississauga or e-medical enabled pediatricians to no avail.
Can anyone tell us if this would affect the processing for our claim? Although, we did recently receive a notice to return for biometrics scheduled for next week.
I also wanted to ask - the letter we received is titled "notice to return for interview" but the document is titled "notice of biometric appointment", our lawyer confirmed it is not an interview but I am still confused. Are the two different? Will we be called again after submitting our biometrics and ID?
It's been disheartening to see no response from the panel physicians' so I'd greatly appreciate any insight from anyone who has experienced the same or knows about it.
