Hello,

I received an email today that said "Please be advised that your file has been forwarded to the Edmonton IRCC Office".
What does that implies? May applicant. Test and background verification completed in early August. LPP is still in progress.

Thank you. Yes I requested the GCMS notes as well but I am not much wiser after reading them.

It looks like no one even touched my file after my exam.

Is your LPP also assigned to RC 8090? And there is a group # I think that's the batch of applications. Mine ends with IMR. If yours does too, we might be in the same group and could expect updates at the same time

I do not see my LPP assigned to anyone.

Honestly my application looks like no one even touched it after my Citizenship exam.

I have no idea. I was so hopeful that Vancouver office will finish it fast but I think I'm going to linger more with Edmonton office, which I guess is not as fast as Vancouver.

what does the note section says? I also just received my GCMS this week. The latest note for me (Note 1) showed the lates activity as “ICES report requested”.

Yes I think so. I also sent a webform as soon as I got AOR because I forgot to include a student visa for the same question. I received an email about 3 months later acknowledging that webform and saying it would be forwarded. So I think that’s dropped me out of the quick/straightforward path I was on. As I’m due to leave the country in a few weeks - I’m now kinda hoping it gets delayed until I get back.

Yeah. That sucks. I'm in no hurry for mine but I also wouldn't want to wait for a year either.

I received my oath invite after 5 weeks of all other processes getting completed. So it is just a matter of time.
