Here is the updated timeline.

Method: Online
Physical Presence: 1,289
Date received: June 9, 2023
AOR: July 14, 2023
Application in Process: July 14, 2023
Invite Test Letter: August 11, 2023
Invite Test Timeline: Any time between August 14th and September 3rd.
Test taken: August 28, 2023
Test marked as completed in tracker: August 31, 2023
Fingerprint Request letter: August 14, 2023.
Fingerprints given: August 25, 2023
Fingerprints received : September 11, 2023
Background marked as completed in tracker : September 14, 2023
LPP marked as completed in tracker : September 26, 2023.

Not started: Citizenship Ceremony.

My background was completed on September 12 (shown on tracker on the 14) and the LPP was officially completed on the 22nd of Sept (reflected in tracker on Sept 26).

This means that the time in processing is
Background to LPP complete - 10 days

I hope that they send the oath letter soon. I am sure that I had a positive decision but a small part of me is like ... "what if they say no"

Hi Armlk

See the quoted post below for timelines. I applied through a consultant so I don't know what was the email address that sent me the citizenship test invitation. But in the letter, they mentioned the Mississauga's office. So I think that my secondary office is Mississauga. Maybe the primary is Scarborough. But to be honest, I don't know the visa office.

Here is the updated timeline.

You are absolutely right. Me & wife gave fingerprints on the same day. My tracker shows fingerprints received and background complete. However, my wife's tracker still showing waiting for fingerprints. She emailed Vancouver office and they confirmed that they have received her fingerprints. This system is complete rubbish.
Hii,

can you please advise of the instructions to email theIRCC Vancouver office?

Should I send an email to the email address I received the fingerprints request from?

any advice of what to include on the email?

cuz I submitted my fingerprints over a month now and the tracker shows: “waiting for your fingerprints”.

Yes, we replied to the same email we received the fingerprint request from. Below is the copy of the email we wrote:

Hi,

I gave fingerprints on 19th August 2023 at the same time as my husband. His tracker has been updated whereas my tracker has still not been updated. I have confirmed with RCMP and was told that my fingerprints were submitted to IRCC. Please let me know whether you have received my fingerprints or not? And when will my tracker be updated?

Those who recently took the test, please share your experiences about the test. How was it? Was it tough? How long did you prepare and if you used any other sources than Discover Canada ?

The test isn't difficult. I found that I had even overprepared. Do not pay for any test preparation services.

I would use Discover Canada, the questions from the public library and create a historical timeline. You need to know more or less when things happened and who were the major actors. I'm saying this in general not due to my particular test. (History was my weakness when doing practice questions.).

Otherwise, be sure to carefully read the instructions for taking the test in your email. It helps to know what you need for test day.

So read through the Discover Canada, take practice tests through your library and you should be fine. I got 20/20 and I was shocked at how much easier it was than the practice material

First of all, Thank you very much for your quick response.
History is not my cup of tea either, but don't want to stress over that. Planning to take the test on Friday. As I am always nervous before tests, just want to know some positive experiences to boost myself. Did you find the question tricky? As I heard they twist the questions just to make them look complicated. Is this true?

Hey everyone,
quick question. Hs anyone had to provide the scans of the passport? The letter says “passport and travel documents stamps that are not in Englisch or French must also be translated”. Do I have to translate every single airport stamp of entrance and exit?

If stamp is not in english or french you have to get it translated. Copy is asked to validate your physical presence.
