Hi @legalfalcon, I submitted my EE profile on Feb 24, 2021 and my application is still in progress and says final decision - March 27, 2023. I have called IRCC multiple times in the last 3 months and they told me ALL checks are completed and I should hear back soon. In the meantime, I moved from the US to Canada on a closed work permit (intra company transfer) due to the expiry of US visa and been here since May 2023. I recently escalated this issue to the MP office and this is the response they received as well: IRCC has advised that your application still open and in progress, they also advised that they have spoken to you and a note was sent to office to request an update, the response from IRCC was that the application still on queue to have the final review done, the note was from September 12, 2023.
In the meantime, I tried for another role within my parent company and got another role but unfortunately had the offer rescinded because of the long processing times for closed work permit (11 weeks) and my PR being stuck in a limbo.
I have submitted multiple webforms, calling IRCC almost every single day but to no avail. Can you please let me know what other options I could try here other than filing a writ of mandamus? Appreciate your help and thank you in advance.
