So I applied in April on the 23 and I JUST heard back this month. I finally received an AOR got SA approval completed biometrics last week and today finally completed the medical exam. I have NO idea why it took so long for me to hear anything back......hope I can catch up now with the rest of you all!
What is your VO? Some VO are very slow. But don’t worry you’ll catch up. Everyone’s progression is different.

Agreed. No one here seems have have a similar timeline. In the end, however, I think it evens out to roughly the same time for majority of the applicants(6-12 months).

Hi,
I applied April 17th, and the biometrics status in the PR tracker states complete. And on the IRCC account it has his biometrics.
I guess the Visa office taking care of your file is just slow. You can try calling IRCC to inquire about it.( Atleast ask why you have not received anything yet)

Hi... same status here. Most of the guys who got bio feee payment request (who has valid one from previous TRV) has status showing as In progress in PR portal. Only for me it shows as completed.

have you received any update on your application? called IRCC ti check?

most of May guys got PPR . where are you with your timelines after medicals?

Just a FYI - sometimes, in the new PR portal, the biometrics will keep showing "in-progress' status, while the GC-Key portal (aka IRCC secure account)
will tell you exactly when they accepted/uploaded your biometrics and its file number. As soon as you can link your file/uci number to the ircc secure account, please do that. Once again - no single portal will give you accurate info - atleast that's what i have experienced. But combination of these will give you a good idea of what stages your application has already passed.

All the best.
Thanksss !

weird thing is.. for me portal shows as completed GC key shows as we dont need, we will let you know if needed . and then no update on Bio or anything.

most of them has BG has not applicable. mine is in progress and never changed :(

I am so worried. not sure where we are with the progress

If it shows completed on the tracker that means they have used your previous biometrics and deemed them as valid. I actually sent an inquiry to the VO taking care of my file with a screenshot of the previous ones my husband did and they replied back as it valid. So the tracker shows completed.
As for the GC key it will always shows biometrics as we do not need them. But if you can see your spouses biometrics with the validity date then you should be fine.

I would recommend that you call IRCC to find out, and see what they say and ask if there is a way you can contact your VO. ( I was able to get the email address from the agent during my call for the VO taking caring of my file) and that’s how I got to know they accepted the previous biometrics

for my timeline after medical, I just received the pre arrival letter on Friday( sept 15)

Oh sure. So bio from day 1 said in progress( after they sent the email asking for them). And as I said once I had paid again and sent the screen shot of the biometrics that was in the GC key with its expiry date to the VO taking care of my file, they responded back saying that they are valid. And then changed in tracker to completed

medical is actually being done right now. My husband is going tomorrow for that. Weird that they did eligibility first and then sent the medical request but I guess eachVO works differently.

BG for me only changed on the GCKey to NA. But in the tracker it states in progress. BG in GCKey just changed to “we are processing your back ground check”

Hey guys I got a “Request letter” email is this the same as PPR? Because in that letter they are asking for my husbands passport as well as 2 photos to be submitted, along with a page of my address here.
And they changed the medical exam timeframe to be completed within 2 weeks( thank god he’s going tomorrow)
