Hi fellow travelers,
I live in Surrey, BC and I am employed with my employer which is based in Seattle. I have a personal office in Bellingham, WA where I commute once every 1 or 2 weeks. I DO NOT commute daily, but once every 1 or 2 weeks.
My position is hybrid and not fully remote.
I wanted to ask if that would mean that the 401k contributions I make in US will not be eligible for deductions when filing Canadian tax return?
What has been the experience regarding 401k deductions for those who commute to US for work either daily or weekly?
