Birth certificate with old passport number

Hello everyone, I would appreciate if anyone can offer their advice on this. I am applying for my daughter's Canadian citizenship certificate who was born abroad. On her birth certificate issued around 8 months ago is my old Canadian passport number which was due to expire this October 2023, but I renewed couple of months earlier and got new passport issued with a different number.

Am I ok to submit her birth certificate with my old passport number with a photocopy of my old and new passport as explaination or should I just get her birth certificate updated with my new passport number and submit that? Please offer your advice.

Many country birth certificate don't have passport no. So the information should not cause any issue even if old. You can attach both your passport copy as explanation.
