Hi Guys,

Need some guidance. My FSWP Outland application is inprogress. AOR May 17th.

I am planning to travel to the US and Canada (on tourist Visa, which I currently have), and my wife and the new born will both be in the country of residence. I will be in Canada for the next few months. If the PR is approved while I am in Canada, but both my wife and child are in country of residence, would this create any problems? What can I possibly do in this scenario? Will I be able to virtually land in Canada and claim PR status while my wife and kid can travel to Canada after approval and join me there? Your guidance will be appreciated.

Regards,
@legalfalcon @iSaidGoodDay your attention is appreciated please.

Final Decision
September 11, 2023 - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

What does this even mean?
People who get a decision made in GCKey "usually" receive their RFV/PPR/Portal within a few days.

Hey ! I saw one of your comments in the past where you had made the observation that PNP EE OUTLAND applications had shorter processing times ( on an average of course) than those of the ones inland. Is that right ?? Stands true in todays day and age ?

Things have changed a lot now. Very hard to say anything unfortunately.

You can apply for GCMS by yourself with your sister's details. The cost is $5 if you apply by yourself. Doesn't make sense to apply through third party when you have the option of doing it.

Took me 10 mins to enter all the details and to submit the request.
yes! ....thats exactly what I am gonna do.
(I was being sarcastic asking about paperwork)

Regards,
You can confirm they are outside Canada
If they have a TRV they can travel back on it if defined travel in place - IRCC will hold
Else declare them as outland & get RFV mail for them and stamp their passports - They can land on PR while you do virtual landing

Good Luck
