Applied for Work Permit and Received Approval with Visitor Visa Document Number and Work Permit Document Number

Hi! I have received approval for my work permit application, I have received Work Permit document number. However, I also received visitor visa document number when I checked my account. I did not apply for visitor visa.

When I tracked my passport which is currently being stamped, the visitor visa document was the counterfoil that was stamped in my passport.

I applied for work permit but why did they put visitor visa?
Is it normal? will it cause any problem?
will i send back my passport again for workvisa stamping again?
would i have issue entering canada if I only have the visitor visa stamped?

You need a TRV to enter Canada. A work permit doesn’t allow entry.

So I still can enter canada with the visitor visa on my passport and get the Work Permit in port of entry?

IRCC should be sending you a new work permit document. What was the timeline for your application?
