Hello everyone, my removal date is on September 10 and I want to submit another H&C my lawyer also did the removal order which I am yet to hear from them. Please what can I do at this time wait for removal or what? I am so scared now and don’t want to go back to my home country.
Can you clarify what you mean by "waste"? Are you asking if the work permit will stop the removal order? If so, then no, unfortunately it won't.
You can submit another H&C application but this won't stop removal, especially if it's another brand new application you are just submitting now.
You need to work with your lawyer and your lawyer needs to file a stay of removal to stop your removal from Canada. For this to be successful, you have to prove that you satisfy something called the tri-partite test. Your lawyer must show that you meet all three parts of the tri-partite test. ***EDIT: So reading your post again, it sounds like your lawyer has already submitted the stay of removal. This is good since this is really the only thing that can stop the scheduled removal. Good luck.
Hello good morning we sent the documents for stage 2 and the officer send an update that my file is updated I received my gcms notes that my info sharing is complete and they reviewing my medical result the only problem is the request of medical for husband and children back home any info on this situation thank you

They passed our medical two days after we got AIP. Criminality is passed as well we called the call centre today, luckily call got picked up.AIP issued-17 august Niagra falls office.

I called the call centre today.The agent told me that eligibility is passed medical is passed.Criminality passed. He said I will be getting finished with officer creating portal anytime, I am waiting for the email.
We didn’t need to submit the documents for stage 2 after AIP.My lawyer notified Niagra office that all the requested documents were submitted upfront such as Medical,PCC,RPRF. They passed medical and criminality within week after my Aip issuance.I think they are fast at stage 2 as it is the only stage for Criminality check with RCMP and home country police authorities.Also, simultaneously CBSA and CSIS do background checks for HIRV, any serious criminal activity or involvement in organized group crimes .It’s basically for the security of Canada and the for the purposes to identify the threat.
They don’t decide your application whether to approve or refuse.They just basically forward the information to Immigration Officer about the Checks and if everything is ok and applicant is admissible to canada on all serious grounds like A34,A35,A39 .Then officer creates the COPR portal for picture upload to issue permanent resident card.
That’s the process for stage 2 I think as my lawyer discussed with me.
What is the timeline? I have a similar case for elderly - though they passed the medical without asking for it since it was done within the past 5 years... but the medical was received in June and no AIP yet... so if you have not received AIP yet, could it be because its elderly people that they are doing the medical first? When did you submit/ they start processing?

last week i called ircc and they said your application is in process and we don't need your biometrics because of covid exception i had my biometrics done 2 years ago, i also applied for work permit extension for my husband and today we received letter for his biometric . is it normal i am so confused why H &c don't need my biometrics and wp wants me to do
