Also one more irritating line they frequently use nowadays!!! ' When was the last time you called?'
I always say I don't remember lol
One agent told me once that they can flag the profile after 18 months and kinda make the officer take some actions on your file. Has someone done that?

It seems more likely that they will be able to take some action but I don't know if I would even be able to wait that long.

It's a lottery system. They dont care about it. When they say "It's still under processing...", it simply means no one is looking at it. I have done everything I could....right from ordering GCMS notes, calling MP, raising webform, its still same information. I tried calling numerous times but you never get through to an agent. I honestly have lost hope and initiating my PR card renewal process. I have to travel for a medical situation in near future and I feel hopeless with this. I really want my MP to come to my door during next election, it'll be a good scene to watch.

They call it the lottery system so they can choose which applications to work on and leave the rest in the cold. They cause backlogs this way and put the blame on other things!!!

Just got an email from MP's office saying that the note was left on August 21st 2023 that the application is now in queue to be scheduled for the oath ceremony but IRCC is not able to confirm when the ceremony will be scheduled. No email or status update from IRCC.

You can also email your processing office and inquire about the expected ceremony date.

Hello guys,
I am also one of the unfortunate ones belonging to this group.
Application Submitted: Jan 10, 2022
AOR: March 03, 2022
BG Completed: June 24 2022
Test Completed: Nov 25 2022
LPP: All in progress
Oath: Not Started

I got a ghost update on Aug 3, 2023 and nothing since then. That was the only update I saw. Sadly it has been over 19 months. I need some moral support from you guys :D. Don't know how IRCC works. I've called them 3 times so far. They all say "You just wait, OK" and I always say "OK" - that's about it lol. Twice I talked to the same agent lol. I also reached out to MP and MP replied "It's still in progress and will recheck again in 6 weeks" - I replied "Thanks for the update". My PR expires next month. Got plans to travel late this year. Not sure what to do now. I personally know 5 other people who applied after me and got theirs.

You can order GCMS notes and if you have already done so, then it seems you have already explored all avenues. Also send your processing office an email and see if that helps.
But really in the end all you can do is wait.
IRCC works in mysterious ways so you never know what to expect.

Hey guys,

I live in the GTA and my online test invitation came from DN SCR ( I guess it’s Scarborough office) which makes sense since I live in the GTA…

HOWEVER, I got the fingerprints request and it was from DN Vancouver!!!

So my question is, is it normal that my application was randomly transferred from Scarborough to Vancouver?

Or do fingerprints are usually sent from Vancouver regardless of what your local office is?

hanks in advance
