How has it been guys? @bleach @Josh_dan @Mickey55555 @shayne_66 @Ali Waheed and all others, too many to mention.

Been a while I have been here, trying not to think too much about the RROC delay. Hope everyone is okay? Seems RROC is moving but slowly like a snail. I am very optimistic still that they would attend to all of us soon.
Hey! Still hanging on and checking in with everyone but not as obsessively as before. Think all of us have taken a step back which is healthy.

Yeah they don't seem to consistently stay active, files move in short spurts. Wonder if there's anyone at RROC on here who has passed 5 months with no final decision yet or if they're being strict with the processing deadline.

I know a bunch of you here are late March AORs so there has to be something by end of next week.
What's your AOR? I don't expect movement on mine (25th April) until it's past mid September.

I just want to write this to help anyone in this situation because it helped me. Since Jan 2023, my tracker showed all complete and COPR generated. However I kept waiting for portal email. I called IRCC and they just said to keep waiting. MY GCMS notes also said application approved. Yesterday, after waiting for 7 months, I dug around on this forum for help and someone said they emailed the portal emails and they got their RFV email the next day. So yesterday I emailed the portal emails explaining my situation and this morning I got my RFV email!!
Here are the emails in case anyone comes across this and needs help. I have been in that situation where the wait seems like something is wrong and not adding up.

IRCC.ClientPortalPrairies-PrairiesClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
IRCC.ClientPortalOntario-OntarioClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
IRCC.ClientPortalEast-EstClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
CIC-Edmonton@cic.gc.ca
I even raised a web form with screenshots of my GCMS notes and tracker.

I don't know which email/webform did the trick but there you go.

I want to thank everyone on this forum who has been super helpful throughout this whole process and saved me thousands of dollars in lawyer fees. Thank you to everyone here sincerely from the depth of my heart. I wish you all the most luck and more importantly please don't leave it to luck. Reach out to them, email them if you have been waiting after all your stages have passed. I would caution you to not spam these emails so that people who genuinely have all their stages passed and are waiting for the COPR can get through.

Great we’ve taken a step back. Being too obsessive about something that would eventually happen isn’t worth it.

My AOR is May 5th. I can see from the WhatsApp group RROC just finished finalizing those with AOR in the middle of March. I’m looking at ending of September or beginning of October and that would be if they don’t take any nasty break like they did in May.

From previous threads about RROC delays I can tell they finalize in batches but I never knew they would be this slow. It feels like they’re understaffed.

I just keep waiting for them to do the work. As you mentioned, they do seem to start working, which is good, but still too slow.

But I have an interesting finding I would like to share from the newest IRCC notes I received. There is nothing new on the notes since the last CBSA notes I received one month ago. There is a note labeled integrity which should be exempt from the Acess of Information Act. I was only able to see that label and the time but everything else was blanked in the previous CBSA notes. But this time, I guess the staff is a bit careless so there is one line left on the notes sent to me. It says " Officer: Please review large deposits, found on xxx bank statements". I guess this might be the reason why my case was sent to RROC. RROC is initially used to process general EE cases that require international knowledge. Maybe the banking statement in the US I provided is hard for the CIO to confirm and thus they sent it to RROC so that someone there who is familiar with the US can review it. This also reminds me that there were several people from the same country who got approved on the same day. If this is true, I guess being sent to RROC is not fully random.

It would make sense that RROC is both random and not random. My application and a lot of other applications get assigned from CIO directly to RROC, while others are transferred from CIO to a Visa Office and then to RROC. Even if RROC is a specialized office for handling applications requiring international knowledge, it could be that such cases are few hence they are mandated to also process normal cases.

I got an ADR while my application was with CIO to submit a passport with 6 months validity so that could also be why my application was moved to RROC, @Mickey55555 once suggested that if an officer has doubt about an application they send it to RROC, I would say maybe it is not really doubt maybe it is if an officer thinks an application requires extra attention. In the WhatsApp group we see a lot of people with RROC as their PVO getting PPR without a single ADR so I think it is safe to say that most applications in RROC do not have issues and I think if your gcms notes confirms eligibility is passed, all is complete on tracker and you have called IRCC and they verified security is passed you have nothing to worry.

@legalfalcon once said that a notes labelled integrity are random checks to verify the officers are doing the right thing but yours is quite specific, I think a quality assurance officer picked your file at random looked at your bank statements and asked a VO to review it further. I might be wrong. Like I said before if eligibility and security is passed I do not think you have any thing to worry about.

Hi everyone,

I received an update on 5th June 2023 on GCKey that says:

Latest update:
Final decision - April 3rd, 2023:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I have since been calling IRCC and I get told each time that all stages are completed and to wait for PPR but no PPR email since more than two months now.

Already tried to contact MP but no response.

Anyone please help me on steps I can take please! I'm outland and PVO is CIO Sydney, SVO is Halifax IRCC

If you are Inland try emailing the virtual landing email IDs mentioned in https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/all-completed-no-ppr-yet.793150/post-10466853.
If you are outland it is difficult, MPs can be a pain if you are not in Canada. Calling IRCC and raising Webforms is the only way I guess.
