Hello,
Related to the question 6a of imm5669,
'been convicted of a crime or offence in Canada for which ..."
I received a white ticket with only fine (no demerit point) for the infraction - "Passenger not fastening seatbelt" in Ontario last month. This happened because I forgot to put on my seatbelt.
I paid the fine on time and did not fight it, as the lawyer told me that it won't affect my car insurance at all.
This is the only and most 'illegal' thing I've done in my life. should I answer yes for question 6a of imm5669 and attach the ticket with the fine payment receipt, or should I just tick 'no'? If I answer no, will that lead to misrepresentation? If I answer yes, what will happen?
I'm very worried about this and regret a lot for not fastening seatbelt.
Thank you for your insights beforehand!
