It just means they started processing the application. Next step is waiting, which takes forever.

Hi Everyone. My name is BOB.
Can someone guide me that do I have to pay BIO MATRIC FEE for my kids ( aging 11 to 17 years) living outside Canada for their PR processing.
Please note ,I am a protected person in Canada and have received my AOR.
I have already paid Bio Matric Fee for my partner but not for kids.
Prompt replies will be appreciated.

Guys applied pr as protected person on 27 may 2023 still nothing received from ircc and I didn’t attached my marriage certificate and birth certificate of my dependents outside canada will this create an obstacle in my application or should i raise web form and attach with it ??

It is unlikely to receive anything until 5 to 6 months passed. They will contact you if you missed documents, and you can try sending those forms through webform but not sure if they will update it or still going to contact you asking for them.

I got AOR today. And was able to link it to my account. It says Medical passed already.
Applied online: Feb 22, 2023
AOR: Jul 26, 2023

Yea lol this is just the start got to wait around 20 months after this step, but still good to hear they started it.

You can call IRCC. I submitted my pr application a few days after yours. I called them a few weeks ago and they gave to me temporary file number starting with X.

What we can do with this X number? Can we use it to link to GCKEY account?

With that temporary number will i able to track my application how should i ask them about temporary number i should ask them to give me number brother ??

When you call them you can tell I want to check my application status. I have not received any file number. They will check and offer you to give the number. Note it. You won’t be able for link. When they start processing your application they will remove X and your number will be starting with G. And you can link your application.
