Hey guys, how are you, there is progress from my file. On July 10, IRCC was send my PR temporary number (XG0000***) was to my email spam box.
I submitted my online protected person pr application on March 10, 2023.
After how long do you think they will send me my permanent application number and AOR letter?

Hard to tell, nowadays they start processing most applications after 4-6 months. You should be able to hear from them within the next couple months.

Thanks. So, does IRCC send the temporary application number to everyone? Or is it just for those whose application is wrong and missing?

They assign the temporary application number to everyone, they didn't send it to me though, when I called them about my application they told me this is my temporary number. I guess this is just until they start processing the application.

Should I fill (Use of Representative IMM 5476 form) if I am filling my PR application online for myself in canada and my family members which are living outside Canada? As the form is available in the check list.

You don't need to fill it if you don't have a lawyer or anyone representing you. This is only for those who wish to use a lawyer or have someone to submit their application.

Applied June 20.2023. Include dependent family outside Canada. Still didn't receive AOR. Any idea about when supposed to get AOR?

Nobody can predict as they contacted me after 4 months and asked for documents and after 2 months again asked for papers and sent me xg number but nothing on ecas nor able to link the account so I think processing has not started yet. Still, they did contact me 2 times so far in 6 months.

please how did you check on ECAS. I keep getting error report.

Guys I applied for PR back in May 2022. In the tracking tool they say the following :

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 30, 2022.
2. We started processing your application on December 20, 2022.
3. We sent you correspondence on June 7, 2023. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

What does this mean ? How long do I have to wait ?

How did you use the tracking tool? I keep getting error report.

All 2023 applicants kindly share your timeline here so we could keep tracking our applications submitted this year. I applied online on Feb 2023.

Hopefully IRCC can take a step processing applications faster this year.

I applied March 9/23. I am still waiting for AOR.
