https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=571&top=5Hello Guys,
Need some help n light regarding this issue,
My friend is planning to apply for Citizenship and we just realized he got his PR based on his partner's PR status.
Since he didn't have to take the Language test while applying PR, Now while filling the citizenship application, the online form has an option for adding the Language test details to it.
Since he didn't take the language test before, what were his options now?
does he have to take a test now ?
Please advise
Thanks in advance

He can give the test or prove his education was done in English
If the education is from an predominantly English speaking country like UK, USA, Canada, AUS etc. he would need his transcript and certificate. Thanks for the quick response.
Proving that his education was done in English in the sense means does he have to get any of his education evaluated by any certain institution/ WES ?
or do you happen to the process n procedure ?
WES evaluation is not needed in this instance. He has two options, either he:Thanks for the quick response.

As long as it's mentioned in his certificates that he completed his studies in English, he should be good. OR he can go for the CELPIP General LS test. Thanks for the quick response.
