Feb NOI's got their nomination 18 to 30 days after DIP. The 3 month time frame is experienced by folks who were in the March draw as a lot of fuss happened during march and april like strikes and stuff. I don't think May one's will experience the same (I hope at least).

Yup. Does anyone know the chances of a rejection after DIP? I have heard its low but still if anyone has the idea. It seems some people got ADR after DIP recently.
I saw a couple of people got ADR in DIP but it's rare. DIP is usually considered safe.
Best of Luck.

Nothing is safe bro... I mean the point of DIP itself doesn't make sense. If I have assessed something - I will give the decision directly... its just an unnecessary step. They should assess and if they feel confident then nominate. Why the extra step..

Lets say unlike Visa officer who decides alone, 2 or more officers are required to issue a single PNP nomination. 1 to assess and an additional officer to go through the application and officer 1 points and to finally decide.
These steps totally make sense.

My profile expires on "4th Sept 2023", i hope i get the nomination and federal ITA before the expiry date.

Quick question: Does OINP transfers or issues nomination to new profile? If yes then how to do it. (Please respond to this one)

Honestly they could just say we will let you know when we let you know instead of showing us all these steps like submitted assessment DIP etc. Without us knowing what they are doing exactly in all these stages, it makes no sense to us other than just knowing that applications are being looked at. I mean they could reject or accept at any stage so what's the point of a 'stage'. Just tell us if we are nominated or not or if you need documents.

Yes they do. If you make a new profile you email them telling them your profile expired and you made a new profile and provide with both profile numbers.

Mine is expiring on August 4.

Maintain a valid Express Entry profile
You must have a valid profile in the Express Entry system from when you apply until you are nominated. If your profile expires during the processing of your application, you must notify us as soon as possible by email at ontarionominee@ontario.ca and include the following documentation:

  • A copy of the letter you received from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) acknowledging the new profile with Express Entry number and job seeker validation code; and
  • A copy of the letter received from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada explaining why your old profile became ineligible
Failure to notify the program of your new Express Entry profile will result in your application being returned as incomplete and your application fee refunded.
