Refusal Under Sds due to strong family ties in Canada

Hello Everyone! This week my SDS application got refused due to strong family ties in Canada, weak family ties outside Canada, and purpose of visit. My profile is as mentioned below:

Intended program: MOM Data Analytics Windsor
Previous Education: Bs Accounting and Finance CGPA 3.56
IELTS 8 bands
Currently working in a bank

Now one of my sister has PR in Canada and my other sister has Green card in US. My mother who has travelled to Canada twice before for a month or two went to Canada on a visit visa a week after I applied. My father got his US visit visa approved this year but he is still here with me and my elder brother. My elder got his Canada visit visa refused this year.

I had shown properties under parents name and made an affidavit highlighting my inheritance share in properties. Also, I had written in SOP that all my siblings are married, have separate families, and live independent life which is why my parents who are 60+ need me to care for them in Pakistan. Despite doing all this and having a good profile my visa got refused.

Now people are saying to show a false engagement/ fiancee to improve family ties. Also, I don't have property on my name but a stable job right now. People are also saying to make a job promising letter. I was thinking of hiring rcic consultant/lawyer to positively impact my case as i have heard that they apply through their portal and are trusted by IRCC. What do you guys think? Recommend me some good RCIC lawyer or consultant and also tell me how should I counter this absurd reason of family ties.

Damn. So I graduated in June 2022 as well (Bs Acc&Fin from NUST, Isb) and have started working in PwC as a Tech consultant. I, too, have applied for MOM Data Analytics from UofWindsor for Jan 2024 intake. You just got me nervous!

You need to request GCMS notes before you reapply. The family ties point is straightforward, but the 'purpose of visit' points raises a question about the 'career progression' MOM will have on your current job

Just an opinion, if your parents need you to take care of them, how would you do that when you are away during your studies? Also, inheritance doesn't count unless those have been transferred to your name.

Suggest to order GCMS notes to have a better details on refusal. You don't need a consultant or immigration lawyer. But if you really want one, contact the owner of this forum. Their number is at the top of the page.

Already ordered GCMS, waiting to receive it. Do you know how much the owner of this forum charge for cases like these?

Not really sure how much, sorry. But they are one of the best and most trusted immigration lawyers/consultants.

Good luck to your case.

Do you know if rcic has higher chances of visa approval compared to people who apply by themselves?
My opinion, if you go for licensed and trusted consultants, you have a slightly better chance of avoiding common mistakes. For chances of approval, I think just about same. The application process is pretty straightforward.

Again, just an opinion.

The key point is you have a better chance of avoiding mistakes with a consultant. It will not affect the processing time if you do it yourself or through a consultant unless there are mistakes made in the app. If using a consultant YOU are still responsible for the docs that are submitted. Maybe get a review from one if you have questions you aren't sure about.

I don't have any questions, I am a DIYer :) Personally, I don't recommend consultants because, imho, the application process is rather straightforward. Again, just my opinion.
