Adding spouse after ITA

Hello experts
I am in the express entry pool with CRS 473 with unaccompanied spouse as our score together is around 453. I was wondering if i can add spouse to my application after I receive an ITA if the draw score is lower than our combined score ? E.g. if the draw score is 450 and our combined score is 453, can i add the spouse after an ITA with only me currently in the pool with score 473 ?

You can. As you mentioned, in this case your CRS will be recalculated and as long as it is above the ITA, you can submit your application. An LOE would also be required explaining in your words on changing from unaccompanying to accompanying.
