I was away for 4 months, was in India for that much time and now when Im entering the dates in physical calculator it is adding 4 months of extra wait time since I away. Is there any exceptions I can apply for. i did have a serious family situation and can present documents for the same.
In case of serious family emergency, can we apply for any exception to make up for the added wait time in physical calculator?

No . How many days does it shows on your physical presence calculator? There is no exceptions for staying away from Canada.
So without entering the time for which I was in India I am eligible in October this year but after entering the dates of when I was away it says my 1095 days complete in Feb 2024
You cannot count the time outside of Canada. You will have to wait until Feb 2024 to apply.
You need 1095 however always give some extra days before applying. You are not eligible right now so if you submit application now , it will be refused. You need to wait till February.

I don't follow that closely - check the actual threads on this of course - but I've mostly heard the opposite, that post-covid applications have been rather quick overall post-covid. Chatting with someone yesterday whose entire family got in ~5 months. FWIW.
