T4Asking for a friend:
My friend is about to submit spouse sponsorship application. He is currently self-employed (UBER). What document can he show as a Employment/Source of Income ? Check list says we need to upload supporting documents if self-employed but not sure what it could be. Can he attach screenshots of weekly Uber income deposits?

Your husband, as a New Zealand citizen has visa free entry to Canada.Hello Everyone
Need some advice.
I am PR of Canada and my husband is a resident of New Zealand. Currently, I am living with my husband in New Zealand on visitor visa. I want to apply for my husband's canada visitor visa. I am just confused if i should select unite with family or simply visit or tourist category. Also, in the past about 6 years back my husband got canada study visa refusal.
If I go for unite with family what should i mention in the invitation letter and the application also ask for present address of spouse. I am not in Canada at the moment so which address should i fill.
Please reply.
Spouse is a resident of NZ, I presume this means not citizen.Your husband, as a New Zealand citizen has visa free entry to Canada.
Therefore, you don't need to apply for anything for your husband to visit you in Canada.
You should submit the sponsorship application first and wait until you received AOR which takes 2-3 months, then apply for the TRV.Hello,
I recently got married and a citizen. I plan to apply for PR for my wife through spousal sponsorship and also want to apply for TRV under the new policy.
Do I need to submit the PR sponsorship application before applying for TRV to take advantage of the new faster processing policy or I can apply for TRV and then PR later?
Thank you.
I would suggest that you look into express entry federal skilled worker, if you're under 30 years of age, have a master's degree and are confident you could get good scores on IELTS.I am Ethiopia I don’t now how to came to Canada I don’t have any family and friends in Canada

You can sponsor your spouse as soon as you get married. Note that you must be physically in Canada to submit the application and must continue living in Canada while the application is processed.Hello guys, I'm a recent PR via FSW EE, less than 6 months. Planning on getting married soon. Question is, would me being a recent PR hinder me from sponsoring my wife? Thanks. I'm assuming the 5 year ban only applies to those that became PRs via family sponsorship.
Thank you for the swift response. You can sponsor your spouse as soon as you get married. Note that you must be physically in Canada to submit the application and must continue living in Canada while the application is processed.
I was wondering if I would need to show tax returns for the sponsorship, because I did a soft landing and didn't file my taxes. Many Thanks. You can sponsor your spouse as soon as you get married. If there are no dependents other than your wife that you'd be sponsoring, then your pay stub, bank statement, letter from employer is sufficient if you don't have Notice of Assessment. There is no low income cut-off either.I was wondering if I would need to show tax returns for the sponsorship, because I did a soft landing and didn't file my taxes. Many Thanks.
