This is in regards to citizenship application for my xxxx. We have applied for it thrice and application was returned for the reason that agent was not able to access “Records of Physical presence in Canada prior to becoming Permanent Resident”.
Applicant name is in Canada since mmyy and became Permanent Resident in mmyy and fulfills time required to apply for Citizenship whereas agent who is accessing the file is not able to verify her records as per CBSA based on passport as all agents do not have access to use passport number to verify records and can only verify based on PR card on which it will not show time in Canada prior to becoming Permanent Resident.
This has happened with many other candidates and based on their response their MP’s supported by reaching out to CPC-Sydney office and urging them to handover the file to agent who can access all records based on PR card and Passport.
We request you to intervene in this matter and help to reach out to authorities to initiate the application process.
