Clarification need for filling detail in online physical calculator

Within my 5-year eligibility period, example 24 July 2023 up to 23 July 2018, I was not inside Canada on 20 July 2018, and left Canada on 15 Feb 2018 for UAE and return back to Canada in March 2020
The physicals calculator cannot accept the date beyond 23 july 2018 and also consider this date towards the applicant credit.
How i can handle this issue, can i add 23 July 2018 as my exist date instead of 15 Feb 2018, and in the reason section mention, that i left earlier then my start of eligibility period.
Please guide me in this regard,

Yeah I think it should be fine. Calculator doesn't care about the period before the 5-yr period.
Providing an explanation letter for clarifications like this will help immensely to avoid a back and forth with them.

Thanks for your reply, but one more relevant question, as i exist Canada before the eligibility period for UK and then later on settled in UAE for 1.5 years. So in the online calculator, from my starting eligibility period i was already settled in UAE, so which country i put as the exist country.
My understanding is that as i was in UAE at that time, i put UAE as exist country. But if they check my record and confirm from Canadian Border Agency, i never exist on this date? rather exist earlier and also for UK?

How to address this issue? Do you think explanation cover this issue

Yeah, just list down these dates and places in the explanation letter so they clearly see when you travelled and also mention you have put UAE since it was at the start of preceding 5 yr period. Make sure to include copy of non blank pages of your passport so they have the VISA and stampings to verify these dates.

All they are looking for is proper information, so long as you don't leave out information, don't falsify and provide proof, you should be fine. This should hopefully help processing quick as well.
